A portal opens up to a plane of travel.
Casting this costs 12 points of energy before any cost increases.
You create a roughly circular portal, 5' in diameter, to or from a completely empty, dark demiplane. This portal lasts for 5 rounds. If using this to enter the demiplane, there will be a 15' radius platform on the other side. Travel through the demiplane corresponds precisely to travel through the original plane. If you created the portal to this platform, you will now be able to control the platform's movement: It can move 500' per round in any direction, and a separate casting of Skimming will be necessary in order to leave.
You can spend any multiple of 5 points of energy to increase the diameter of the portal by 5' each time. You can spend any multiple of 5 points of energy to increase the radius of the platform by 5' each time, but not when using Skimming to reach a platform you already know about. You can spend any number of points of energy to increase the speed of the platform by 50' per round per point.
