Skulk
Illusion (Glamer)
Level: Grim 2
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You up to your maximum load
Duration: 1 min./level (D)
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

We weren't sure what we were looking at initially. It appeared to be a ghost, sitting stark still, staring back at us from the darkness of the overgrown vines covering the temple entrance. With a wave of his hand, he appeared as a whole, solid man, beckoning us over to him as he begun slicing an apple.

You and any gear you are carrying (not beyond your maximum load) become translucent and muffled for the duration of the spell, casting a vague, ghostly impression. The spell grants you a competence bonus on Hide and Move Silently checks equal to your key casting ability bonus in dim illumination or darker. Additionally, you may "take 10" on any Hide or Move Silently check. Because you are difficult to discern and target, opponents suffer a 20% miss chance due to concealment when attacking you.

Held light sources shed illumination as normal. Items dropped or put down by a creature lose the effect of this glamer. Though, picked-up items fall under the glamer. Any part of an item that the subject carries but that extends more than 10 feet from it loses the effect of this glamer.

A true seeing effect penetrates this glamer. A see invisibility effect does not counteract skulk.
