::Hm. Okay. I'm sure you're familiar with DMC3's Quicksilver Style, so how might we replicate such a massively powerful ability? -SecondDeath777 06:22, 11 March 2018
:::I'm trying to post a coherent reply, but admittedly it just keeps going off kilter. Blame illness, I'll do my best anyway.
:::Quicksilver Style, I remember that one! That is a trickey wicket isn't it. Time Stop doesn't allow attacking directly in its time stop because its just that broken good, and we're already up to 9th level. However on further appearances this actually might be pulled off. I thought of two completely different ways to interpret it.
:::Method A: As a standard action you enter a state of super reaction time. You may make a full round actions worth of actions at any point in the next round. This is super powerful as you can interrupt attacks, move out of the way of attacks, etc basically on other people's turns, though you can run out of actions on your own. Action economy wise, you've only gained a free move action out of it. This lets you do thinks like stop time, move out of the way, stab in the back. If you want you could even give them Attack on the Run or something similar in Quicksilver Style so they can move attack move attack move attack.
:::Method B: As an immediate?/standard? action you enter a state of super reaction time. Every time any other creature takes their turn, you get to act as well on their turn from a limited list of abilities: Move at 1/2 speed, make a single attack, something else? This grows in power with the more creatures attacking in the encounter, so this may be abusable via Bag of Rats.
:::What I mostly notice is that time isn't actually stopped, just moving slowly so the Time Stands Still think seems apt. In this case though it seems Dante is taking full attacks "out of turn" by dodging and countering in the state of slowed time. What do you think? -- Eiji-kun (talk) 19:32, 11 March 2018 (MDT)
