Formatting Update[edit]

I'd be willing to help out in updating some of the formatting and such for your pages, Eiji. Linking in the Racial Traits section would be nice. Let me know if you want some of that action and I'll try to get to it when I have a spare bit of time here and there. I know it's not your favorite thing. --Ganteka Future 05:23, November 24, 2009 (UTC)

Ratings[edit]

Good race. Thought out, but lacking in a few areas (Alignment and Language in particular) and it feels like it could be expanded upon in tasty detail. While I wouldn't let formatting hold back a good article (or lack of a picture), I will mention that every little bit helps. As is, its solid, and warrants a favor.

I don't know what I was thinking back with my old rating, but this race stinks, even for a kobold. That sounded a bit racist, but whatever. The flavor text is rather sparse, offering nothing particularly new, interesting or entertaining. Improvements in wording and sentence structure would help a lot with an update. As for mechanics, bleh. Small and Natural Armor is a bit much. Light Sensitivity is lame (as mentioned below). Natural weapons are not cool for an LA0 race. They seem unusually small for a Small race. This one needs some work.

Block Reason: This is a legacy rating from before our current ratings scale. While the reasons should be valid, it is not counted in the ratings on the article page because of the inaccurate scale.
Honestly, I am underwhelmed. The flavor isn't fleshed out very well (so far as I can tell, they're just kobolds from another country who like to work out) and the mechanical bits of the race are pretty weak. It's certainly better-balanced with standard races than a normal kobold, but it still has a ways to go. Not bad per se, but really not noteworthy.

Eiji is looking and reviewing this, it is an old article after all. Changes may occur. -- Eiji-kun 12:39, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Light Sensitivity?[edit]

When I read the summary I thought "cool, a Kobold without Light Sensitivity!"

If they are adjusted to life outside of caves, wouldn't they not be bothered by sunlight? The Dire Reverend
