Aforementioned approval is still approved. Time to one-hand my zweihander!

Solid mechanical benefit that can be effective in certain builds, but is not a must-get. I approve.

So, I am not sure about a couple things:

  • If this feat should cost more than +1
  • If allowing two-handed weapons to lower to one-handed is a good idea
  • (If it's okay for two-handed weapons to lower)Should I allow two handed weapons to obtain this ability twice at a higher enhancement cost
  • If I should use a better name than Contracting
  • If I should make an opposite version (gain the benefits of a larger weapon, ex. better bonuses with power attack, gaining 1.5 strength bonus to attacks)

Feel free to tell me that this is a stupid/overpowered idea. The Dire Reverend 10:24, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

This is fine, I already allow is as a free benefit for weapons made of mithril as a houserule, and its opposite sort of exists, that being gold and platinum weapons (damage up one category, up one size). This is slightly better if it permits you to count it as both smaller and your original size when needed, and that's fine because it's a +1. This works well.
