Balance Point

Might be a monk-level feat, not sure. --Ghostwheel 00:06, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

I dunno, I'm almost tempted to just say that if it only applies to monks it's monk level, but it provides double damage at lower levels compared to unarmed strike, so maybe really low fighter tier?--ThirdEmperor 09:26, December 8, 2009 (UTC)
I just noticed that this is really powerful with shurikens :P. I was trying to find something that would let me mesh flurrying with thrown weapons. Edit: Technically I suppose shurikens are already monk weapons, but consider this on a longbow. It should only apply to a melee weapon. --Andrew Arnott (talk, email) 02:33, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
Good idea--never meant to make monks non-melee with this feat anyway. --Ghostwheel 18:34, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
I like this, but I'm not sure about the free multiclass bit. I don't enforce any of the multiclass restrictions for anything in my campaigns personally, but I'm also iffy on what would happen to a monk with this feat that gos fighter and maxes out the Weapon Focus branch. Counting in all the extra feats that branch off it, then a twentieth level character could one-hit kill or cripple almost anything.Teh Storm 20:42, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
A build like that would be at a solid fighter level, which is what this feat aims for. It certainly couldn't one-hit kill anything nor cripple almost anything. It would do a solid amount of damage round per round, but would be utterly destroyed by most high level spells: just like a regular fighter or monk. I don't see how this feat sends a character over the top. --Andrew Arnott (talk, email) 21:00, May 18, 2010 (UTC)
A build like that would be fine--I just don't want a level or two of monk on top of something like the machine gun assassin to get such a big damage boost (add on enlarging shenanigans) from such a small investment in combination with something like Ascetic Stalker. Plus, I don't really see the monk archetype fitting in ranged attacks too much. --Ghostwheel 21:11, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

Ki Strike?[edit]

Does this ability allow you to use the Ki Strike ability? The Dire Reverend 15:23, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

It does now. --Ghostwheel 02:34, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
Sexy. The Dire Reverend 03:15, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

Monk Feat[edit]

Got tired of never been able to find monk feats, so made a category. If you want it off, take it off. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 12:04, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
