The lack of save is pretty rough, but the maneuver itself doesn't seem to bad. The knowledge is of circumstantial use, mostly for setting up combos. I'm ok with this.

I agree with Eiji on this. At first I thought it allowed you to choose an opponents ability and just out right choose what to block, and that probably would have gotten a dislike or an oppose (which is what I think Kesey might have been thinking). As it stands now, it only lets you make that choice if you use a 2nd and completely separate ability after this one. That doesn't sound as bad. Although, I do agree with Eiji, there should be some kind of save (maybe Will?) even if the DC is really high, I'd still be okay with that.
