Anyone know of a good price range than "Damn expensive", and in addition spells that could be used to create this? One I think that might work is feather fall. The Dire Reverend 20:14, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Feather Fall at will would be 2000 gp, and you might want to add an arbitrary increase to that because the boots time the feather fall to automatically be cast the moment before you hit the ground, for a price as much as 5000 gp total. An alternate method to get a similar effect would be to give three different types of +30 bonus to Tumble, for the low, low price of 540000 gp. --Foxwarrior 20:25, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
+30 to tumble would qualify for damn expensive, but tumble has other uses than falling damage negation. I think the 5,000gp price is a good idea. The Dire Reverend 20:40, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
So... this is an appropriate ability for a 7th level character, then? - MisterSinister 21:15, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
Hmm... I dunno. What price do you suggest other than 5,000 gp? Also, anybody know how long it takes for the magic equipment to update, or did I mess up on the category stuff? The Dire Reverend 02:01, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
MS would suggest determining what level you want these to be a reasonable purchase at, grabbing a copy of the MIC, looking up the price ranges for that level item, and picking a number in that range.
As for the page, it's supposed to update within 48 hours, but it doesn't always. You can also force a refresh of the page itself by using the drop down arrow by "View history" and selecting "Refresh", which will make it show immediately unless something is wrong with the categories. - Tarkisflux Talk 06:00, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

If you lack an MIC copy, you can always look at it this way - check the WBL table, and look at the growth rate (namely the change) between level X and level X-1. If your price is about that much, this is what you could expect to find between gaining level X-1 and level X, and thus, it's appropriate for level X-1 to level X, depending on whether it tends to the higher or lower end. - MisterSinister 10:49, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
