The feat isn't so bad, still bad but the rating come is soured up about how the feat itself is laid out. But please use capitalization and punctuation in your articles, people don't have to look after you.
Also this is not a [Metamagic] feat, like at all. |
On Utility[edit]
Besides what Leziad has laid out there is something unintentionally amusing about all of this. The warlock's primary fire is untyped energy, to use fire or cold or any other element is a choice they need to go out of the way to do. While there is some very niche purpose of persisting with these essences anyway because, say, some rider effect on them I can't really see why a warlock doesn't just use his normal no-resistance fire.
To put it in perspective, this is the Fighter with his Adamantine Greatsword facing off against a golem with DR/adamantine... so he goes out of his way to select one of his limited feats with high pre-requisites, so he can use his cold iron dagger on the golem and bypass the DR/adamantine. Except the adamantine greatsword is like... right there on his back. Why would you go out of your way to make it hard?
(And yeah, totally not metamagic). -- Eiji-kun (talk) 00:41, 6 May 2018 (MDT)
