Homicide

Apart from Fear and Cloudkill, everything in this domain is about killing individuals. How are you supposed to kill millions of innocent people if you can only murder 20 or so of them per day? --Foxwarrior 06:57, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

What about power word kill? It can kill a lot of commoners. Beside killing a lot of useless little shits is far from optimal. It designed to be useful over fluffy, beside cloudkill can kill a lot more than 20 commoners. If you get them in line, as soon as they enter the cloud they drop dead. It last for a minimum of 9 minutes, which is 90 rounds. I say it can easily kill a thousand commoners in one casting... maybe I shouldn't put any thoughts into it. --Leziad 09:55, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

Power Word Kill only targets one creature. I don't care that killing useless commoners is far from the optimal strategy in D&D; one would assume that this domain is supposed to be appealing to people who want to commit genocide, but as it is, the Fire domain and the Toxic domain are both better choices. --Foxwarrior 10:24, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

I know it's cheesy, but consumptive field (and the greater version) are very capable genocidal spells. Using mass spells (like mass harm) would also be favorable in terms of flavor and effectiveness. - TG Cid 16:12, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

Nobody ever said that this wasn't a perfectly viable domain, and I certainly wasn't suggesting its deletion. The only problem I have with it is that the only connection between the name and the spells is a general sort of feeling of death.
