Clever application of the rules, but I would not want to see this used in a game.

Lesser Astral Projection?

Looks like it. -- Eiji-kun 07:08, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

The underlying magical rules are completely different, but tactically, I suppose it is. --Foxwarrior 07:35, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Free Turn?[edit]

Does "and act immediately" mean that the summoned being gets an immediate full turn, as it appears to mean with other summoning spells? This may need clarifying.--Ideasmith 00:52, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Well, of course it does, because when the 1-round action ends it will be the beginning of your turn, but I suppose the addition of that line will just confuse the issue. Also, what's a See Text descriptor? --Foxwarrior 01:41, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
Oops. I had forgotten about that nuance of the casting time rules. --Ideasmith 02:10, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

See Text[edit]

When a 3.5 spell has a descriptor that varies complexly as described in the text, such as Summon Monster I, the words “see text” are placed where the descriptor would normally be, to indicate that one needs to read the description to find out what the descriptor is. Check the entry for Summon Monster I in both the PH (page 285) and the SRD.--Ideasmith 02:10, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Ah yes, you are right. --Foxwarrior 02:32, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
