Level 1 required?[edit]

It seems weird that you can take this as your level 12 feat. --Aarnott 16:11, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

I considered it, then I figured, "eh, it's a growth spurt/you just figured out how to optimize your unusual tall/shortness". -- Eiji-kun 20:33, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

Upgrade?[edit]

What balance level would you consider this if a) one had to pick slight or powerful build when they took the feat, and b) it applied regardless of the current size of the character? Be Well (talk) 17:12, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

Well Powerful Build on medium is pretty nice, it pushes races up closer to LA 1. Likewise, Slight Build kobolds are very useful. So probably High. It's not Very High though. Not THAT good. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 09:10, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

Moderate for High[edit]

This gives you a High feat for a Moderate feat, but without the ability score prerequisites of either of those feats. That's a problem. The drawback of avoiding size limitations is something, but easy to work around as being a near non-penalty. --Ganteka Future (talk) 17:27, 8 March 2020 (UTC)

The reason this is moderate while powerful build is high is that this only permits small and medium. No amount of size changes, magic or otherwise, can help you with that. Since breaking out of the small/medium arrangement is usually the point of powerful/slight build I found that suitable. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 02:27, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
