Telekill Alloy[edit]
Telekill alloy is a silvery metal, which is non-magnetic and highly resistant to rust and corrosion. The particular call to fame of telekill alloy is that it possesses a strong anti-telepathy channel, which make it useful in various uses and applications.
A weapon made of telekill alloy behaves much like a normal steel weapon, except it possesses a powerful anti-psionic charge. If a creature with the psionic subtype is struck by a telekill weapon she takes an additional 1d6 non-lethal damage and loses a number of power points equal to half the weapon's base damage.
When fashioned into armor, telekill alloy grants resistance to psychic damage based on its weight category. Light armor grants a resistance of 5, medium armor a resistance of 7 and heavy armor a resistance of 10. These armors also grants the wearer immunity to the following spells and powers: detect hostile intent, detect thoughts, probe thoughts and read thoughts. Finally the wearer is unable to communicate telepathically.
It is possible to make wall isolation and other construction out of telekill alloys. It is impossible to communicate telepathically or use a telepathy-based or mind-based ability through such obstruction. A telekill alloy cell is perfect to hold a powerful telepathic monster imprisoned.
Telekill alloy has 30 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 10. Weapons and armor made from it are always of masterwork quality; the masterwork cost is included in the prices given below.
