Turn Coat[edit]

This fine, sturdy coat has angelic designs on one side, and demonic designs on the other. When it's full and healthy, the designs are vibrant, seeming almost alive. When it's empty and at 10 or less health, the designs are faded and barely visible.

This coat has 60 hp and hardness 13.

While its wearer has at least half as many current hit points as their maximum health, the angelic designs face inward, transferring up to twice the wearer's HD in hit points from the coat to the wearer each round. This transfer is limited by the maximum hit points of the wearer, and cannot reduce the coat's hp below 10.

While its wearer has less than half as many current hit points as their maximum health, the demonic designs face inward, transferring up to twice the wearer's HD in hit points from the wearer to the coat each round. This transfer cannot reduce the wearer's hp below the amount necessary to kill or destroy them, and cannot increase the coat's hp above 60.

Whenever the wearer's hp crosses the threshold, the coat flips around rapidly.

Prerequisites: craft wondrous item, heal, harm.
