Unseen[edit]
An unseen weapon uses partial invisibility to catch opponents off-guards.. For example, an unseen sword could appear to be simply a scabbard and a guard with an invisible blade or similar features.
The first attack made in a round against a particular creature with an unseen weapon catches the attacked creature flat-footed. A creature that does not rely on sight, possesses the Blind-Fight feat, has the Uncanny Dodge class feature, or has the ability to see the invisible, is not caught flat-footed by an unseen weapon. An unseen projectile weapon is completely visible, instead turning its ammunition invisible upon firing.
