Combat[edit]

Stun Spore (Su): A Venonat can blast an opponent within Close range (25 ft. plus 5 ft. per 2 HD) with the dazzling spores that it shakes out of its dusty fur. A targeted creature must make a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Wisdom Modifier) or become stunned for 2d4 rounds.

The sample Venonat has a save DC of 14 for Stun Spore.

Poison Powder (Ex): Creatures who remain within close proximity (20 ft.) of a Venonat for 2 consecutive rounds are exposed to Insanity Mist unless they do not breathe during that period (either because they do not normally breathe or because they voluntarily hold their breath). Venonat can suppress or resume this ability as a free action.

Poison Body (Ex): Every part of a Venonat's body is covered with poison. Any creature which comes into contact with the Venonat (regardless of whether or not this was the result of an attack by Venonat) is exposed to Venonat poison: DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Con modifier; initial and secondary damage 1d6 Constitution damage. Every round that a creature touches or is touched by the Venonat counts as a separate exposure. Venonats are also immune to all vermin toxins.

360 Degree Vision (Ex): A Venonat can see in all directions simultaneously, and gains a +8 racial bonus to Spot checks. In addition, a Venonat has darkvision out to 180 ft. and can see in magical darkness as easily as a creature with normal darkvision sees in a cave.
