Spring Carpet[edit]

Spring carpets are surfaces (typically carpets) which have been enhanced with magic to spring those who trend upon it high into the air with a comforting warm thermal of wind. Jump checks made on the carpet are doubled, and all jumps are treated as if having had a running start. Some clever mages scatter them around otherwise impassable structures, knowing the secret while others struggle to climb. A typical carpet is a 5 foot square (no hardness, 8 hp, break DC 27).

Rumor has of flying spring carpets, or even sentient spring carpets which fly around and bounce their hosts upon them to their destination.

Moderate transmutation; CL 9th; Craft Wondrous Item, jump; Price 1,800 gp.
