A strange shirt, made out of very thin wood layers compressed together, feels strange but it's wearable.
The shirt grants the wearer the ability to enter inside one living tree, large enough to contain it. While inside the user may observe and hear normally the surrounding areas, up to 20 feet (6 meters), in each direction from the tree it is in. Entering and exiting are move actions and the wearer may stay inside for up to 3 hours per day, being expelled when the time is up and appearing adjacent to the tree, on a side of its chosing.
Being a part of the Naturalist Uniform set (other pieces are the bladegrass coat and moss boots), these boots gain additional powers when worn together with other pieces of the set:
- 2 pieces: the wearer may reproduce the spell tree shape as a spell-like ability, once per day. This tree counts as a tree it has entered. Also, its range of perception while inside a tree increases to 40 feet (12 meters).
- 3 pieces: the wearer may reproduce the spell tree stride as a spell-like ability, once per day. It may enter any kind of plants, instead of just trees, and they don't have to be capable of containing its size. Also, its range of perception while inside a tree increases to 60 feet (18 meters).
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, tree shape.
Cost to Create: 5,000 gp, 400 EXP, 10 days.
