{{3.5e Feat Sublime Training |types=General, Fighter |summary=You become a martial adept in a single discipline. |prereqs=Must not take this feat while taking a level in a martial adept class. |fluff=You have a past as a disciple of one school of the Sublime Way. |benefit=Choose a single martial discipline. You may now perform maneuvers from that discipline. You are now a martial adept class, and you are treated as a martial adept for the purpose of determining initiator level. This is valid only for the class you took at the time of taking this feat. Other classes advance your martial adept progression every two level, as usual.

You begin with the knowledge of two martial maneuvers and one stance, with the progression shown on the table below.

You must fulfill all prerequisites for whatever maneuver you wish to learn before taking it.

Your maneuvers (and stances) count as extraordinary abilities unless otherwise noted. Maneuvers are not subject to spell resistance or antimagic fields (unless the maneuver is supernatural), and do not provoke attacks of opportunity.

In addition, when you reach 2nd level, and every other even level after, you can exchange one maneuver for another. The new maneuver does not need to have the same level as the old maneuver, but it must observe the restriction on the highest-level maneuver you know, and you must meet all other prerequisites before selecting the new maneuver.

Starting at 1st level, you are able to ready 1 of your maneuvers. In order to ready them, you must spend 5 minutes exercising. You can change your maneuvers during the day if you wish, but you must spend 5 minutes exercising again in order to do so.

When an encounter begins, you have all of your maneuvers, unexpended. These maneuvers can be initiated once per encounter, and you do not regain them until the end of the encounter, unless you have a recovery method.

At 1st level, you can select a 1st level stance from one of the available disciplines. At 4th, 9th and 15th level, you can select additional stances. Like with maneuvers, you must meet all prerequisites when selecting a new stance. These stances are available at all times, and you can initiate or change the stance you are currently using as a swift action. Stances count as extraordinary abilities (unless stated otherwise).

In addition, when you reach 2nd level, and every other even level after, you can exchange one stance for another. The new stance does not need to have the same level as the old stance, but it must observe the restriction on the highest-level stance you know, and you must meet all other prerequisites before selecting the new stance.

You gain Martial Lore and the discipline skill of your discipline as class skills, if you don't already have them. |example= |normal=Only specific classes are martial adepts. |special=You may take this feat multiple times, choosing the same or a different discipline each time, but no more than three times.

When you take this feat for the second time you don't gain another progression for the new discipline, rather you may change any maneuver or stance you already know for one of the same level of the new discipline. In addition, you gain two extra maneuver known, increasing the maximum per level. Choose these maneuvers from any school this feat gives you access to.

The third time you take this feat you may change maneuvers and stances as before, but you don't gain extra maneuvers known. Instead you may ready an extra maneuver and you may recover maneuvers with a movement action or making a single attack. You recover only one maneuver by doing so, usable from the end of your turn.

If you take the same discipline the second time you take this feat you gain two extra maneuvers known per maneuver level and a new stance. When you take it the third time and choose again the same discipline, you gain one extra maneuver readied per maneuver level and the recovery method presented above.

A fighter may choose this feat as one of its bonus feats. }}
