The smell of burning incense fills the room, as the potion contents boil away and form a thin pale pink mist in the air. You feel better.
This spell consumes any potion which heals any amount of hp or ability damage or drain, such as a potion of cure light wounds or potion of lesser restoration. The contents of the potion become a 20 ft radius mist emitting from a point in space.
Upon initially casting the spell, all creatures heal 1 hp and/or ability damage and creatures automatically stabilize. At the beginning of their turn creatures exposed to the mist heal an additional 1 point. This lasts a number of rounds until the potion is expended, a number of rounds equal to the maximized amount it would heal or until its duration expires. For example a potion of cure light wounds would normally heal 1d8+1 damage, so as long as the spell lasts for 9 rounds it will heal 9 points of damage. If you still have duration remaining, you can continue to consume additional potions to extend the duration of the mist as a free action.
Regardless if the spell is actively consuming a potion or not, as long as the duration is ongoing any healing made within the area from other sources are maximized.
