Shrekken TouchedEdit
Giant beings "blessed" by an evil god of destruction, they possess terrifying strength and punishing blows.
The evil god Shrekken teaches a philosophy of destruction, of not merely defeating one's opponents but to do it with overwhelming and undeniable force. To overkill is blessed, to shake the ground with your blows divine. Those blessed by his power find themselves stronger and more dangerous than ever before.
Creating a Shrekken TouchedEdit
This is an acquired template which can be added to any creature of Large size or bigger. Stereotypically Shrekken prefers ogres of his dismal swamp of death, but any sufficiently large creature will fit the bill.
Size and TypeEdit
If the creature was humanoid, their type changes to Giant. Otherwise, they keep their type. Do not change BAB, HD, skills, saves, or other aspects.
Special AttacksEdit
Staggering Blow (Ex): Attacks from a shrekken touched creature cause creatures to stagger. Once per round as part of a melee attack, the shrekken touched can force a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + Strength modifier) to stagger a creature for 1 round. If they score a critical hit with this attack, the target is staggered (no save) and knocked prone on a failed save.
Special QualitiesEdit
Hyper Armor (Ex): Shrekken touched are immune to staggering and stunning, and they cannot have an action be interrupted through attacks of opportunity (such as provoking from a disarm attempt, or casting a spell).
Powerful Build (Ex): Shrekken touched gain the Powerful Build ability of a half-giant.
Stability (Ex): Shrekken touched are unusually dense, and gain +4 stability as dwarf. This stacks with any pre-existing stability.
