A spelltouch weapon is engraved with various magical runes along its surface. When channeling spells, these runes shine brightly in various colors corresponding to the school of magic being cast. A spelltouch weapon allows you to channel touch spells through your weapon. This allows a wielder to benefit from increased reach the weapon may provide. Touch attacks with the weapon usually discharges the touch spell as normal and deals no additional damage. Alternatively a regular attack can be made, dealing normal weapon damage and discharging the spell.
If you have arcane channeling (via the duskblade class), any spells you channel through your weapon have their attack roll increased by +2.
