1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

A strange weapon, it is built like a racket with a handle and a blade that forms an oval, sharp on the outer rim. Within this oval is a fine leathery mesh which can rebound objects off of it. With practice you can project even fragile items like alchemist fire great distances.

As a melee weapon it attacks with the edge. When used like this, it is a martial weapon. As a ranged weapon it acts not unlike a sling, including adding Strength to damage, and can take sling bullets as well as any sufficiently small or round item, such as potions, alchemist fire, up to the maximum size of a tanglefoot bag. Items used like this gain a range increment of 50 ft. This function is exotic.

In addition, those with the appropriate proficiency gain the following three tactical abilities:

Deflect Item: As a non-action you can make an attack roll against any ranged attack you would be able to launch with this weapon. If your attack exceeds theirs, this deflects the item back at the origin with the higher attack roll. This consumes an attack of opportunity. If you have Deflect Arrows, you can deflect any projectiles you could normally deflect bare handed up to the number of attacks of opportunity you possess.

Deliver Item: The bladeracket can deliver items, with force or intended to be grabbed. If delivering an item with force you can deploy potions and oils that would otherwise take a standard action to activate, literally breaking their containers on targets. However, this deals the base weapon damage as non-lethal damage, as well as the effect of the potion or oil. Alternatively you can safely pass items long distances. Allies can attempt to grab a launched item with a DC 15 Reflex save, as long as they have a free hand open and are aware of your intent.

Power Ball: You may use Power Attack on your ranged attacks. Treat the blade racket a a one-handed weapon for the purposes of Power Attack.

The bladeracket is a double weapon, the melee and ranged parts have different damage types, and you may two-weapon fight with them as if using two light weapons. However unlike most double weapons, the bladeracket shares its base numerical enhancement bonus (if any) across both parts of the weapon.
