Mariner [General]
You have trained at sea, learning several tricks of the trade which makes you particularly well suited to life on a vessel.Prerequisites: Profession (Sailor) 4 RanksBenefit: Firstly you gain a +3 bonus on Profession (Sailor) and Swim checks, as well as on Survival checks made on a ship. Additionally you gain the following benefits:
- You do not take a penalty on Balance checks made to keep balance for standing on unsteady ground or a slippery surface.
- You gain a climb speed equal to half your land speed, but only to climb roped surfaces. If you fall while next to a rope, you may reduce the length of your fall by the length of the rope down, negating the fall completely if the rope touches the ground.
