Renaissance Polymath
Not content with experimenting with chemistry, a renaissance polymath is a master of many skills. They are especially well-learned in knowledge and crafts, but they lack the alchemist's innate affinity with poison.
Class: Alchemist
Level: 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 10th, 15th
Replaces: Poison Use, Poison Resistance, Swift Poisoning, Poison Immunity
Benefit: A renaissance polymath gain access to the following class features:
Class Skill: A renaissance polymath adds all Knowledge skills to her list of alchemist class skills.
Erudite Knowledge (Ex): A 2nd level renaissance polymath adds half her class level (minimum 1) to all Knowledge skill checks and may make all Knowledge skill checks untrained.
This ability replaces poison use.
Versatile Crafting (Ex): A 2nd level renaissance polymath chooses two Craft subskills except Craft (Alchemy), she may use Craft (Alchemy) instead of the chosen craft checks. At 5th level and each 5 levels thereafter, the renaissance polymath chooses an additional craft subskill with this class feature.
At 6th level, the renaissance polymath may apply the crafting speed increase of her swift alchemy class feature to all chosen craft subskill.
This ability replaces poison resistance and swift poisoning.
Jack of All Trades (Ex): At 10th level, the renaissance polymath can use any skill, even if the skill normally requires her to be trained. At 16th level, the renaissance polymath considers all skills to be class skills. At 19th level, the renaissance polymath can take 10 on any skill check, even if it is not normally allowed.
This ability replaces poison immunity.
