Sandbender [Bending] Prerequisites: Must know at least four Earth bends, one of which must be Quicksand; BAB +3; Constitution 15+Benefit: Upon taking this feat, you add these bends to the Bender of Earth list for the purposes of what bends you can choose. You also gain the Stonesand passive bend as a bonus Minor Bend.

Stonesand (Minor, Passive): You can bend sand just like you do earth and rock, and can break earth into sand as a free action or stone into sand as a swift action. Your normal attack bends from the Earth list deal half of their damage (Rounded up) as Slashing, and the rest as whatever type they normally deal.
Sandblast (Minor): You can levitate sand into the air and propel it at a foe. This can be done either as an attack action, dealing 1d6 (+1d6 per three Bending level) slashing damage to the target, with a 40ft range increment. OR you can spend a full-round action to deal the above damage in a 20ft cone or 60ft line, with a Reflex trap save for half damage in each case.
Scour (Major): You can use sand to tear through objects or shred skin. Whenever you attack a target with sand, such as with Sandblast, you can change the attack's action to a full-round action. When you do, the effects differ based on whether the target is wearing armor, possesses natural armor, or possesses permanent damage reduction.
  • If the target is wearing armor or using a shield, you can choose to attack the armor or shield directly. Your attack to the armor or shield deals no damage to the user, but wears down the object's hardness (As described below); Once the armor or shield's hardness is depleted, you can wear down the nonmagical AC bonus the object grants at the same rate you wear away Natural Armor (Described below). A suit of armor reduced to 0 AC is considered destroyed, as if its durability was depleted.
  • If the target possesses natural armor, the target's natural armor is reduced by 1 unless it succeeds a Fortitude save. Damage to natural armor is heald at the same rate as ability damage and may be restored by any spell or effect that heals ability damage.
  • If it has no natural armor but possesses damage reduction from a permanent source (Such as a barbarian's damage reduction, but not DR granted by an item), your attack lowers the target's permanent damage reduction values by 1 for 2 rounds unless it succeeds the Fortitude save; Continuing this onslaught in consecutive rounds allows you to wear away the target's damage reduction and keep it worn away, but if you are unable to continue, the damage reduction returns at a rate of 1 every round.
  • If the target possesses no natural armor nor damage reduction (Or both values have been reduced to 0 with this or another ability), the Scour attack deals additional damage per die equal to your Constitution modifier.
  • When used on objects, you can reduce the object's hardness in the same way you would reduce a creature's damage reduction.
Sand Shield (Minor, Passive): You gain a +2 shield bonus to AC (with an additional +1 per four Bending levels) while levitating at least 10 cubic feet of sand in your square. As a secondary benefit, while this shield bonus is active, you gain the benefits of the Deflect Arrows feat.
Dustcloud (Minor): You can turn one 5' cube of earth, stone or sand into two 5' cubes of dust. Dust obscures sight as Obscuring Mist, except that fire has no effect on it. Keeping the dust in the air is a swift action each round.
