In order to manifest this power, you must expend your psionic focus.

Annihilate mind barriers works much like its lesser cousin shatter mind blank, but with a few key differences. The target must make a Will save or be stripped of all immunities against mind-affecting effects, fear effects, and morale effects, in addition to shattering all mind blank effects for 24 hours. Then, if the target fails its Will save, the manifester may, as a free action, manifest a power with a manifesting time of 1 standard action or less with the [mind-affecting] descriptor; the full cost for this power must be spent, including any augmentations if any. That power may only affect the creature targeted with annihilated mind barriers, even if it would normally affect more creatures. Otherwise this secondary power grants it own saves and effect as normal.

On a successful save, the target still takes 17d4 nonlethal damage as their mind is left cracked and battered.

A mindbreaker who manifests this power gains 3 pain points if the victim fails its saving throw, or 1 pain point if it succeeds.

Augment: For every additional power point you spend, this power’s damage increases by 1d4 points on a successful save. For each extra 2d4 points of damage, this power’s save DC increases by 1.
