Anxiety

You are wrecked by anxiety, which make you doubt your own abilities in times of failure. You tend to speak quietly, which make yourself hard to understand from time to time, especially when stressed.

Effect: If you fail at an ability check or skill check, you take a -4 penalty on such checks for 1 hour as you begin doubting your abilities. The result of the failure must be apparent enough that you noticed that you failed.

Additionally unless stated otherwise, the character is assumed to not be speaking at a volume above a whisper. In stressful situation you must use a move action to speak above whisper level. Alternatively you may speak a single word at above whisper level as a as a free action once per round. This does not affect verbal components of spellcasting.

Benefit: A Moderate bonus feat or lower for which you meet the prerequisites.
