Armor of the Cat

This armor is looks like a smooth and silky fur coat in various patterns. It comes with a hoodie with cute cat ears on it. In spite of its non-threatening and non-protective appearance, it endows its user with the twitch reflexes of a feline.

If the character has some help, cut this time in half. A single character doing nothing else can help one or two adjacent characters. Two characters can't help each other don armor at the same time.

The armor of the cat was developed by a cat obsessed "nekomancer" who made them for her humanoid servants so they would fit better in with her cat filled tower. It is considered studded leather +1, but with a maximum Dex bonus of +7, no armor check penalty, only 5% arcane spell failure, and only 10 lbs. When worn, all falling damage is reduced by half and you always land on your feet (even if unconscious or helpless). The warm and fuzzy fur gives its user mundane protection as if use an endure elements spell.

When worn, the user can unsheathe a pair of claws which deal 1d4 damage (for medium creatures), and they gain a +4 competence bonus on Balance, Climb, and Tumble checks, and a +2 insight bonus on initiative and Reflex saves.

While wearing armor of the cat you can use Speak with Animals (felines only) at your character level, 1/day.
