When you cast this spell, you start radiating psychokinetic energy from your body, creating a sort of 'pressure' in the area which crushes those around. All creatures within range of the pressure treat any square they move though that is toward you as difficult terrain. Additionally for each square a creature move toward you, they take the spell's pressure damage as non-lethal damage, half of which is bludgeoning damage and the other half psychic damage.
A creature whose hit dice or CR that equals or exceeds your effective level are not affected by the pressure, and thus can move normally without being damaged. A creature whose hit dice or CR is half or less your effective level must make a Fortitude save upon entering your aura of pressure or be unable to act. for the round Such creature may attempt the save again at the start of each of its turn to be able to act for that round.
The range of the effect that extends from you, and the pressure damage, are dependent on your effective level. Your effective level is your caster level, or your hit dice, whichever is lower.
