You win BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bee swarms are swarms of normal bees and other bee-like creatures like wasps. They have a deadly sting, and make a loud buzzing noise. Most sane people wouldn't mess with these yellow and black nightmares, were it not for the fact their homes are filled with delicious honey.
Combat[edit]
Great, someone knocked over the bee's nest and now you're screwed. Run and hope they don't decide to wait outside for you to come out from hiding. Normal bee swarms will only travel a few hundred feet at most to chase you away, but dire bee swarms have no such mercy. Though mindless, they act with surprising cunning and murderous intent, waiting for prey and chasing them for miles. Only by blocking their path or hiding underwater can you escape, and they are not afraid to wait.
Distraction (Ex): Any living creature that begins its turn with a bee swarm in its space must succeed on a DC 13 Fortitude save or be nauseated for 1 round. The save for a dire bee swarm is DC 17. The save DC is Constitution-based.
Poison (Ex): Injury, Fortitude DC 13, initial and secondary damage 1d4 Con. The save DC is Constitution-based. A bee that successfully stings another creature pulls away, leaving its stinger in the creature. The bee then dies, but this has no overall effect on the swarm's potency.
Acidic Poison (Ex): Dire bees have a more terrifying form of a bee's poisonous sting. Besides poison, the sting of a dire bee carries a potent acid which adds +2d6 acid damage to their swarm attack, and additional damage if the creature is poisoned. The dire bee gains Ability Focus with its acidic poison as a bonus feat.
Injury, Fortitude DC 19, initial and secondary damage 1d6 Con and 5d6 acid damage. The save DC is Constitution-based. A bee that successfully stings another creature pulls away, leaving its stinger in the creature. The bee then dies, but this has no overall effect on the swarm's potency.
Skills: Both normal and dire bee swarms have a +4 racial bonus on Spot checks. *They also have a +4 racial bonus on Survival checks to orient themselves.
