Bond of the Aphid [Symbiotic]
Prerequisites: Aspect of the Vermin class feature, Aspect of the Aphid.Benefit: [Symbiotic] feats increase the effectiveness of your [Hivemaster] feats. For your aspect of the aphid feat, you are considered to have one more level in hivemaster. The individual benefits of that feat are also altered, as follows.
3: The aphid eats by puncturing the side of a plant with it's long, needle-like mouth, and sucking out the sap of the plant. So, as you start to become similar to the aphid, your mouth changes to suit an appearance more like that of your tiny little friends. You gain a proboscis attack which deals damage according to the table below. If you have a proboscis attack, then instead increase the range of that proboscis attack by 5 feet. This proboscis attack, if gained by itself, affords nothing out of the ordinary, has standard range, and uses the normal rules for attack rolls (unlike with the aspect of the mosquito feat).
7: Aphids engorge themselves on sap, using hardly any nutrition but sending the unused, to you. In fact, so much nutrition makes it's way to you, that your morphic, vermin biology has started to use it to make you heal faster. You gain fast healing 5. This fast healing stacks with any other fast healing that you have gained from [Hivemaster] feats.
11: Aphids are a pest, and carry disease with them, everywhere they go, infecting the plants they live on, their world itself, around them. You have taken on this trait yourself, and now infect your world, as you live your life. From now on, if you spend a week in a general location (never going further away than 1 mile per hivemaster level from a central point), then that entire area (a 1 mile per hivemaster level radius circle around the central point you judged your distance from) becomes infected with a particularly strong strain of filth fever, that only has a 1 day incubation period. If any living thing is in, or enters into, this area, then, after six hours, they must make a save (DC of 10 + ½ your HD + your con modifier), or be infected by filth fever. If something suceeds this save, then they must make another save every six hours they remain inside the area, until they become infected by the disease. If you leave this area, or die, then, one week later, the infection in the land, dissipates. The infections on any individual creature, however, will still remain.
15: Aphids eat plants, this is a fact. This doesn't make plants very happy, as aphids have grown very good at eating them, and so have you. You are now very, instinctively, adept at fighting plant type creatures. Your natural attacks now have an augmented critical of x3 (x4 if it already had a x3 critical, etc.) against any plant type creature. Also, if you land a critical threat against a plant type creature, you automatically confirm it.
Special: A character can only have a number of [Symbiotic] feats equal to the number of times that they have gained the Aspect of the Vermin class feature.
