These soft leather boots have a garish pearly finish, long laces and short heels for riding. The leather stays supple and the boots are surprisingly light and comfortable with reinforced soles. The student of Varrav that originally made them didn't have the recipe or knowledge to make proper boots of levitation and decided to just start weaving magic and see what happened. The boots appear to be imbued with air and comfort. Thankfully, the student took notes and many pairs of these boots now exist. Sadly, the student gave a rather ridiculous name for them.
On command, these boots allow the wearer to levitate as if she cast levitate on herself for up to 30 rounds per day. However, for each point of damage taken while the boots are active, the duration decreases by an amount equal to the damage dealt. Additionally, the wearer may spend an immediate action and decrease the remaining duration by 10 rounds (so long as at least 10 rounds are remaining) to gain one of the following benefits for herself.
• Feather fall for 10 rounds.
• A full breath of fresh air.
• +4 circumstance bonus on Constitution checks made for a forced march for 1 hour.
