1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
The burstfire pistol is a variant of the Handgun being heavier with an extended magazine and greater recoil. It can hold up to 12 bullets before needing to be reloaded as a move action. A character with exotic weapon proficiency with burstfire pistol adds her Dexterity to damage rolls. A character that is wielding a burstfire pistol may use the following weapon art:
- Burst Fire: You fire a three round burst. You consume 3 bullets, dealing 3d6 damages (for a medium pistol). If you do not possess enough bullets in the pistol for the 3 rounds burst, you deal 1d6 less damage per missing bullet. You may use this weapon art on a standard action attack without a penalty, or on the first attack of a full-attack. If you do the later, the attack and all other attacks made in the round take a -2 penalty to hit.
