1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

The success of the two-bladed sword, though marred with a fair share of accidents and safety violations, turned out to be popular due to the sheer popularity of certain fantasy plays being done in the area. The creators naturally thought ahead; if two longswords is good, then two greatswords are better. What could possibly go wrong?

Built like a two-bladed sword but composed of greatswords instead of longswords, the massive cleaver-like blades are very powerful, and very heavy. Creatures require a Str of 13 to be able to use without a -2 penalty on attack (which stacks with non-proficiency) and attacks of opportunity cannot be made with the weapon (though see below) as it's simply too unwieldy. Even so, it packs the punch of a greatsword on each end. The double greatsword is a double weapon. You can fight with it as if fighting with two weapons, but if you do, you incur all the normal attack penalties associated with fighting with two weapons. Unlike most double weapons, you take penalties as if using a one-handed weapon in your off-hand. However you treat your main hand as if it were two-handed (getting Strength and a half to damage) and your off-hand as one-handed (getting Strength to damage). A creature wielding a two-bladed sword in one hand can’t use it as a double weapon—only one end of the weapon can be used in any given round.

In addition to its two-weapon benefits, those with Exotic Weapon Proficiency in this weapon gain access to a variety of abilities as shown below.

Blade Shield Stance: As a swift action you can enter a blade shield stance (this counts as a stance of the highest level maneuver your qualified for interacting with martial maneuvers). In this stance you keep the blade in constant motion around yourself, gaining a +2 shield bonus and the ability to make attacks of opportunity. However you move at half speed, and you take a -2 penalty to attack rolls.

Helicopter Spin: You are able to use Whirlwind Attack with this weapon as if you had the feat. If you already have the feat, you get a second attack at -5.

Elk Horn Stance: As a swift action you can enter an elk horn stance (this counts as a stance of the highest level maneuver your qualified for interacting with martial maneuvers). In this stance you keep the blade largely horizontal, fighting with pushing motions. In this stance you must use the weapon two-handed and cannot use both ends of the blade. However you hit both the square in front of you, and the two squares to the left and right of the target, hitting three separate targets with one attack roll. A single creature with multiple overlapping squares only takes damage once. If the double weapon has two different enhancements, you can choose which squares get hit with which parts of your weapon. This stance doesn't let you put as much damage behind an attack, and you take a -2 penalty on damage.
