You strike with your vine lash, draining away the life of your opponents. You may replicate the effect of vampiric touch although you must deliver it with a vine lash attack. If your target is grappled by your vine lash you may opt to automatically hit, although you will not deal vine lash damage.
Unlike the spell you absorb the stolen health as healing, not temporary hit points.
