The armies of gnolls ravaged the land. Among them leading the roving packs with larger tougher members clad in black with red stripes of blood indicating their rank.
A specialized gnoll who acts as a powerful but ultimately expendable front line soldier, these gnolls are said to enter battle only after they have consumed a cocktail of drugs that makes them stronger, tougher, and utterly fearless. They march ahead cutting though enemy lines, and becoming platforms for other gnolls when their bodies finally hit the ground.
Gnoll shock troopers speak gnoll.
Gnoll shock troopers are without fear and will charge into enemy lines if they believe it will win the war. That isn't to say they aren't without tactics, but one tactic they find effective is demoralizing the enemy simply through sheer kill count. And they have become exceedingly good at it.
War Charge (Ex): As a full round action the gnoll shock trooper can move up to their speed in a straight line, and make a single attack against every creature in reach in that line. This movement still provokes attacks of opportunity if they move through threatened squares, and if they attempt to move through an enemy creature's square and fail to kill it, they cease their movement there.
