The Hexbound Resistance feat is part of the Z's Blood Magic sourcebook, and uses the mechanics and features presented therein.
Hexbound Resistance (Feat)
Prerequisite: Durlanaar
At the end of a Long Rest, you can meditate to seal away your innate Hemocraft for your own safety. Doing so turns your Blood Curse from a weakness into a strength - As with no Hemocraft present in you to feed on, it instead lashes out at the Hemocraft thrown at you.
When you seal away your Hemocraft in this way, your racial Blood Curse feature is suppressed: Until you finish a Long Rest or use a Hemocraft ability, you instead gain the following benefits:
- When you make a saving throw against a Hemocraft ability, you have advantage on the saving throw.
- Whenever a creature makes a Hemocraft attack against you, they have disadvantage on the attack roll.
- Whenever a creature deals damage to you with a Hemocraft ability, you have resistance to the damage dealt by that ability.
However, when you seal away your Hemocraft in this way, it is weakened in the following ways, until you finish a Long Rest:
- Whenever you force a creature to make a saving throw against your Hemocraft DC, they have advantage on the saving throw.
- Whenever you make a Hemocraft Attack against a creature, you do so with disadvantage.
- Whenever you deal damage to a creature with a Hemocraft ability, the creature has resistance to the damage dealt by that ability.
