Holt's tenure at the Academia Magica was marked by one the lowest criminal incident rates in the school's history, owing in large part to his extraordinary success in apprehending violators of school policy. Ever the humble and unassuming man, he attributed his feats not to his own intellect and abilities but instead to this extraordinarily simple spell, which he developed when forced to clear the Enforcement compound's cellars of large vermin. It is said that no one who felt the bite of this spell again committed an offense while on school grounds. Ever.

With a successful melee or ranged touch attack, you deliver a sharp slap to your target's face or an equivalent area, dealing nonlethal damage equal to your key spellcasting attribute modifier (Intelligence for wizards, Charisma for sorcerers, etc.). A target that takes damage from this spell must also make a Will save or be shaken for 1 round.

Focus: A glove.
