A thin white disc with an outer diameter of 1 foot that when thrown, turns into a glowing disintegrating disc of doom.
This weapon works as a boomerang, but instead of doing damage on a hit, instead is treated as psionic disintegrate with a number of power points equal to the thrower's challenge rating with a DC equal to the BAB of the thrower.
It is a standard action to throw an Identity Disc.
If the thrower's challenge rating is less than the number of power points to manifest psionic disintegrate (11), lower the damage by 2d6 for each challenge rating lower than 11. For example, if a CR 9 warrior threw an identity disc, it would do 18d6 (22d6 - (11-9 * 2d6)) damage.
Furthermore, you gain a +2 competency bonus to autohypnosis checks while in possession of an attuned identity disk. It takes 8 hours to attune to an identity disc.
This weapon starts out with a +1 enhancement bonus, and may further be upgraded, but no other enhancements may be made on this weapon. The enhancement increases the attack and competency bonus of the weapon. The cost to enchant is double the enhancement bonus squared times 2000 gp. Thus, it costs 32,000 gp to enchant an identity disc into a +2 Identity Disc.
