Imaginary Wounds
Telepathy
Level: Telepath 8
Display: mental
Manifesting Time: Standard Action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 5 rounds (D)
Saving Throw: None
Power Resistance: No
Power Points: 15

A cryptic power designed to allow the manifester to avoid certain death within limit. Upon being manifested, the telepathically creates a 'placebo body'. While in this state as long as the manifester's consciousness survives any wounds dealt to her is imaginary. In effect note the hit point total of the manifester when she manifests Imaginary Wounds. While this power is in effect, if the manifester would be slain outright she simply takes 50 points of damage that cannot be prevented or reduced in any way.

Once this power ends either because its duration elapsed or it was dismissed, her hit points become equal to the hit point she had when she first manifested this power if higher. She is also cured of any status effect, physical ability damage and burn she suffered after the power was manifested. If the power was dispelled it has no effect. If the manifester dies before the power duration can elapse, the power immediately ends without effect, leaving her dead.

If this power is manifested as a swift, free or immediate action its duration becomes 1 round. This spell can only be dismissed as a standard action.
