Its body was grotesquely fat, with each fold and ripple owning its own gaping toothy maw. Eldritch tongues flapped in the air, spitting sparks of fire and carving blasphemies in the sky while it cursed, shouted, laughed, and howled all at once.
Demons of language, especially that which is considered evil, rude, blasphemous, or forbidden, these multi-mouthed monstrosities are constantly emitting a dull roar of multiple voices speaking. They are surprisingly even tempered for a demon; insults and curses aside they prefer talking over fighting. They enjoy collecting and then gladly loaning various evil tomes, corrupt spellbooks, and other written material to mortals and thus indirectly condemning them to whatever hellish hazards await, giving them the nickname of "library demons". These things aren't silent, however, and often can be hard to understand in their unstopped rambling.
Jabberliths stand 9 ft tall and weighs 1500 lbs.
Bane to those who use vocal components, it still remains a threat regardless if its inhibiting speaking or not. If creatures get too close it uses Pretty Cool Blow to knock them away, while stacking debuffs and penalties with its Power Word spells.
Air Drawing (Su): Using its many tongues it can draw burning symbols of hellfire in the air, allowing it to place symbol spells, runes, and other drawn words or hazards in mid air. An erase spell removes it instantly.
Aura of Babbling (Su): All creatures who can hear the jabberlith within 90 ft feel a tourettes-like impulse to curse, growl, or otherwise made rude and blasphemous statements spontaneously. Creatures suffer from a 20% fail chance each round that they are unable to speak properly unless they succeed on a DC 25 Concentration check. This can interfere with attempts to speak, and vocal components.
Immunities (Ex): Electricity, Poison.
Jabbering: The jabberlith's many mouths allow it to use any language-dependent, sonic, or power word spells as a move action instead of a standard action.
