Kindling[edit]
An enhancement that allows the owner of the weapon to rest peacefully. A kindling weapon effuses a slight warmth and a candle's light. Once per day the user can use a standard action that provokes attacks of opportunity to put the weapon on the ground, usually with the business end sticking in the earth, kindling a flame, to replicate the effects of a bonfire's rest spell, centered on the weapon. No one can remove the weapon from the ground before the effect ends, unless the owner does it (with the normal action used to retrieve a weapon) or the magic is dispelled first.
When the current owner of a kindling weapon dies, its weapon falls to the ground and immediately create a permanent bonfire's rest, with caster level equal to the owner's level or HD, at time of death. No one can remove it, unless by dispelling it, unless the original owner does so (for example if the owner comes back to life) or someone that inherited its legacy.
