Lapis Bolt
Evocation [Earth]
Level: Azure Sorcery 1
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 move action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Targets: One or More Creature
Duration: 3 rounds or instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes

Describing a semicircle with its staff, Inophet left three blue lights above its head.

With a move action that provokes attacks of opportunity, you create one bolt + one extra bolt per three levels you have, which deal 1d6 + your casting modifier (minimum 0) of earth, half divine damage. As you create them, the spheres float above your head, in your space and follow you around. You may fire them, using your attack routine, as ranged touch attacks with your casting modifier as a bonus instead of Dexterity. If you wait too much though, the spheres will shoot out by themselves. At the start of the third round after you cast this spell, all the spheres attack, using your highest modifier, targeting the nearest foe, or splitting between multiple opponents if they are at the same distance from you (if necessary determine randomly the targets).

You can choose to deal non-lethal damage instead of lethal at the time of casting.

As a defensive option, this spell protects from other lapi bolts, each sphere canceling out a single incoming bolt.
