"This bronze mask bears the visage of a middle-aged man with well groomed facial hair and armored embellishments along the brow and chin."
The origins of this mask are lost to time, though it maintains a storied history, passing down from royal architects, to sculptors, to artificers through the years. Those keen in many talents find the best use for it.
This mask imparts upon the wearer magical knowledge. While worn, the mask's wearer counts as knowing the following spells for the purposes of crafting and activating magical items: fly, hardening, maze, minor creation, move earth, overland flight, stone shape, transmute mud to rock, transmute rock to mud, wall of iron, wall of stone, warp wood, wood shape.
The mask also grants a +5 competence bonus on Craft skill checks to craft items made of metal, stone or wood so long as the artisan has the proper tools available (and uses them).
The Mask of Daedalus is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but it is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
