Mire Treader [General] Research of lethal sinking hazards has given you an advantage over others in the same peril, allowing for you to stay calm and move deliberately in ways that do not worsen your predicament.Prerequisites: Athletic Feat; Skill Focus (Swim); Swim 10 ranks; Master Swimmer Feat.Benefit: You may swim through sludge, silt, quicksand, peat bog, ooze, grain piles, and other precarious, thick, semi-solid or colloid substances as if they were water. You move at half your swim speed while doing so.
Additionally, failing a swim check does not cause you to immediately go under in over your head, even if you roll a natural 1, although a failure still halts your progress and on a natural 1 you begin the process of sinking.
