The manifester create a large swarm of nanocyte, microscopic psionic constructs, to destroy her foes and bolster her allies. The swarm take the form of a shimmering transparent 'cloud'. The cloud don't actually block line of sight, as it is fully transparent. However the nanocyte will attempt to block attacks coming out of the cloud, granting cover to each allies creature inside.
The nanocyte will protect and bolster the manifester's allies while attacking and harassing her enemies. Allies creature within the cloud receive a +2 bonus on attack roll, AC and damage roll. Enemies within the cloud take a -2 penalty to attack roll, AC and damage roll and must make a fortitude save each round of become staggered until the start of their next turn.
As a move action, the manifester can command the cloud to attack one particular creature within the cloud, dealing 4d6 damage to that creature and doubling all penalties caused by the nanocytes. If a creature is slain that way it body (but not equipment) is dissolved into grey goo. The psion may also command the cloud to move up to 20 feet as a move action.
Augment: You can augment this power in one or more of the following ways.
1. For 2 additional power points you spend, you can improve the nanocyte reaction time, allowing you to move it once per round as a free action. The movement speed of the cloud is also improved to 40 feet.
2. For 2 additional power points you spend, you can order the nanocyte to clot together and take on particular colors and shapes. This allow you to reduce the height and width of the cloud. This augment can also be used to make the cloud visible, granting concealment to each creatures inside.
3. For 4 additional power points you spend, you can enhance the nanocyte aggressiveness, causing them to attack each hostile creature within the cloud without requiring a move action except without doubling the penalty.
For every two additional power points you spend on any augmentation, the DC rises by +1.
