1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
Little more than a heavy chunk of iron with finger holes in it, it is a crude form of brass knuckles designed for sheer staggering blows. Attacks with the ore fist are unarmed strikes, and they use your unarmed strike damage with the benefits of Improved Natural Attack (does not stack with the feat, but stacks with other sources). Use the damage above or your base damage, whichever is better.
Because of its unbalanced nature, attacks with the ore fist suffer a -2 penalty on attack. However, each successful hit lowers the target's AC by -2 for 1 round by knocking them off target. Multiple attacks stack, to a maximum of -8 after four attacks. On a successful critical hit, the target is also staggered for 1 round.
A monk is considered proficient in ore fists.
