Both cheap and reliable, personal forcefields quickly gained popularity among starting adventurers and low-ranked soldiers in the armned forces around the world.
A Personal Forcefield take the appearance of a brooch, as long as it worn it project a very weak barely visible forcefield around the wearer. The wearer is always under the effects of fragile shield spell, additionally as long as you are under the effect of the spell you gain 3 temporary hit points (do not stack with other source of temporary hit points). At the beginning of your turn the effect reactivate, refilling the temporary hit points and resuming the shield if it was broken or dispelled.
Whenever a personal forcefield break it has 25% chance of shutting down for 24 hours.
Prerequisites: craft wondrous item, fragile shield.
