You concentrate your thoughts. "There's no plane like home. There's no plane like home..." The power to return home was within you all along.Prerequisites: Concentration 8 ranks, Knowledge The Planes 4 ranks, Exposure to plane shift spell.Benefit: You gain a number of charges which you can use to duplicate a limited form of plane shift (willing only). You regain 1 charge per day to a maximum of your highest mental ability modifier in charges (minimum 1). Plane shifting is a spell-like ability as a 1 round action. How far you can plane shift depends on your concentration check. See the table below.
Failing the concentration check causes the plane shift attempt to fail, but you can try again next round with no loss of charges. However, failing a check by 10 or more causes a dimensional disturbance, launching you 1d6 x10 feet in a random direction and taking 5d6 points of backlash damage. If you perish from this damage, your body parts are scattered across the multiverse.
